Tony Dungy's RED ZONE ia a unique national student athlete football kickoff event designed to inspire and motivate youth through high school football players and teams. The inaugural event was hosted in theaters nationwide on Tuesday, August 25th. With more than 1.2 Million High School Football Athletes nationwide, and millions more at the youth league and junior high level, there is a recurring need for good training, development of character and cultivation of the fundamentals that create champions.

Parents of student athletes are constantly looking for the best equipment and special training for their sons. Coaches are constantly searching for elements that create a better understanding of the sport and provide quality role models for their student athletes. Born out of a tremendous love for the game of football and a strong desire to support parents and coaches in their quest for positive role models, Coach Tony Dungy has created an entirely new football experience--Tony Dungy’s RED ZONE. It is a true motivator and will challenge players to view football as training for life.

This unique theater event presents inside tips on football from professional coaches and players, plus covering conditioning, increasing performance and mental toughness. The event focuses on providing inspiration, playing with passion and developing personal character. This year’s event was first presented in 460 movie theaters nationwide on August 25th 2009. An Encore Presentation is being scheduled for October. By challenging young players to avoid drugs, play clean and learn the benefits of hard work, it set a new standard nationwide for high school athletes. This entirely new approach provides impact for an new generation of student athletes BEFORE they develop bad habits that will limit their sports career, or more importantly, limit their potential in life.

In the past, the logistics for a nationwide kickoff event of this type would have been nearly insurmountable. But now, through the collaboration of Fathom Events and Fresh Air Media, the availability of a nationwide network of High Definition widescreen theater venues is a perfect fit. Tony Dungy’s RED ZONE event set a new standard for quality training and inspiration for high school football athletes. There is a possible Encore presentation in early October.
